BibTeX and XML

I've become very interested in the idea of managing BibTeX references via some XML format, to make for easier repurposing. Here's a collection of links I've come across that are interesting in this regard.

BibTeX in XML

• A Sourceforge project on BibTeX as XML markup: basic aim is to use the BibTeX content model, but encode the data in XML so that it can easily be output in BibTeX or other formats. Includes pointers to other BibTeX and XML work.
• The BibTeX-XML-HTML Bibliography Project
• bib2xml: code for converting BibTeX into XML
• Bibtex2HTML: a set of tools that transforms a bibtex file into an XML file and then into an HTML file
